I feel employee engagement is one of the most important part of Human Resources. It is necessary for productivity. If employees are spending full work hours or even more in the office but not engaging themselves in the task assigned, it may lead to wastage and dissatisfaction. There are several reasons for lack of employee engagement. It may be lack of authority, lack of challenge in the job, lack of enthusiasm and motivation at workplace, lack of clarity in the roles and responsibilities, lack of trust and bonding in the team and many other reasons.
