Resignation letter format for not completing notice period

Hello friends,

It seems unusual that an HR professional is posting blog in such topic. :) 
Actually one of my friend discussed about writing a letter on this and I thought to post the same. 
Exiting from organisation with goodwill is equally important. You should never burn the bridge, you do not know how when and where you need the people and past organisation. I will discuss on this exiting topic later on. Please find the format. I hope you will like it.

I’ve had a great time working at …………………. (complete name of the organization) for the past …… years, but I have decided to move ahead in my career to take up assignment with more challenging and diversified role. Unfortunately this letter will serve as my 45 days notice. My last day at work will be …………………………..

I am moving to a  profile completely different than whatever I have been handling till now. More than the money, it is about opportunity and roles I will be handling. ……….. (Name of the organization) and you have always supported me and created path for my development. I request you to waive off my 15 days short notice period. During notice period serving time, I will ensure proper handover and smooth transition of my role.

Thank you so much for all of the opportunities you gave me at ……….. (Name of the organization). I’ll always be grateful for the valuable experience and practical knowledge I gained while working here. Kindly accept the resignation and relieve me by …………………………
